Cox Ford Recreation Park, LLC Camping

We are located on Cox Ford Road, just on the North side of the Cox Ford Bridge, and on the East side of the road. It is tucked back into the wilderness of the covered bridge country.

When we constructed our go-kart track, we considered that perhaps some of our visitors may want to camp along the banks of Sugar Creek. Campers could then listen to the ripple of the creek, go fishing if they wish, and just enjoy the setting of the campsites.

Our primitive camping facilities are off the beaten path, and located in an area where tourists can enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of city traffic, noise and congestion. We always want our guests to have an enjoyable time while visiting our area, and we know that you will enjoy spending part of your time with us. You can stay with us, right on the banks of Sugar Creek.

If you come to the Turkey Run area for camping, hiking, or canoeing we will do our very best to make your visit more enjoyable.

We are located approximately two miles from the front gate of Turkey Run State park, down the long winding hill on Cox Ford Road, and just across Cox Ford Bridge.

If you want to go fishing, bring fishing gear and have your fishing license (Also, don’t forget to bring mosquito repellant for protection against the bugs).

$15.00 per site ($85.00 per week)

Sites are designed to accommodate a maximum of 4 – 6 people

Reservation cancellations must be made two weeks in advance.
All weekend reservations must include a minimum of 2 nights.

When you arrive, please register at the Cox Ford Recreation Park office, on the park grounds.
